Molly
was playing with her new friend Lucy in her room. They were playing
“copy-cat”, the only game they could play. Molly would stand in from of
her mirror, and Lucy would appear. Then they’d try to see if they could
catch the other making the wrong
movement. They were particularly good this afternoon.
Molly was quite
pleased with herself, and how in sync she was with Lucy. Just as she was
going to throw Lucy a cheeky little wave she believed she could win
with, there was a, “Molly?”
She
heard her mum yell her name from downstairs, so she got up and started
to head down. As she got to the stairs, her mum pulled her into her room
and said: "I heard that, too.”
“What was it?” Molly asked, eyes shining with curiosity.
“I
think it came from the mirror. Looks like your friend’s mom is finally
catching on!” Responded Molly’s mom, then she laughed. “Things are
about to become very exciting!” She informed her daughter, “How would
you like a play date with Lucy, here at home?”
(You may, or may not, see some familiar names and characters popping up throughout the challenges. Anyone remember these two?)
